- 5 –6 croissants torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese cheddar, gruyère, or a mix
- 1 cup diced ham cooked sausage, or mushrooms
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or chopped parsley optional
- 2 tbsp butter melted (for greasing the dish)
Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F and butter a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Layer croissant pieces with cheese and meat/veggies. Sprinkle herbs on top.
Whisk eggs, milk, cream, salt, and pepper. Pour over croissants, pressing gently to soak.
Bake 35–40 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
