Method
- Sift the baking powder and flour in a medium bowl and set aside
- Beat the eggs at high speed until they become very light in color – at least 5 minutes – then slowly add the sugar and continue to beat.
- Once all the sugar is well incorporated, add the flour mixture a bit at a time while continuing to beat well.
- Gently pour the mixture into a non-greased springform pan.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until risen and nicely browned and a wooden skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Turn the pan over onto a cooling rack and let cool completely before removing from the pan.
