Apple Walnut Oatmeal
Healthy and delicious oatmeal topped with sweet cinnamon apples and maple yogurt. Give yourself a great start to the day with this simple recipe. Can be easily doubled to make a bigger batch to have over a few days. Sooo good
Servings 2
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine
- 3/4 cup regular oats
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of ground flax (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Add to the above dry ingredients
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1/4 cup plant milk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- Mix together until combined
- Add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- Pour it into a small oven proof dish and top with sliced cinnamon apples
