- 250 –300g Gnocchi Sardi pasta
- 2 –3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 –4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 –3 cloves garlic minced
- ½ –1 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
- 2 green onions sliced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta & Broccoli
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi sardi and broccoli florets to the same pot and cook until the pasta is al dente and the broccoli is tender (about 8–10 minutes).
- Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
Make the Garlic Oil Sauce
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown).
- Stir in red pepper flakes and green onions.
Toss Everything Together
- Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the pan. Toss to coat well in the garlic oil. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt to taste.
