In a large bowl mix wet ingredients1/2 cup pumpkin puree3 tablespoons milk or cream1 large egg1 tsp vanilla
In a medium bowl combine dry ingredients:2 cups flour3/4 cup sugar1 tablespoon baking powder1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
Cube 6 tablespoons cold butter and work into dry ingredientswith a pastry blender.
Mix dry ingredients into wet and gently stir just untilit comes together. Do not overmix!
On a lightly floured surface, form the dough into a circle
Cut into wedges and brush each scone with cream
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes
