
Spinach Bread
A flavorful quick bread full of nutrients - looks beautiful and tastes amazing
Ingredients
- 3 cups of bread flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 cups of fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup of warm water
- 1 tsp of honey
- 7 g yeast one envelope
- 1/3 cup of olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine the flour and the salt and set aside
- In a small blender combine the spinach with the warm water and blend well.
- ( you should have about one and a half cups of liquid)
- Transfer the spinach mix to a small bowl and add the yeast and honey and let's sit for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes add the spinach mixture to the flour in the bowl along with the olive oil.
- Combine all together to form a dough.
- Shape into a ball and place in a greased medium bowl for 2 to 3 hours.
- Once the dough has risen , shape into a loaf and place it in the loaf pan to rise for an additional 30 minutes.
- Bake at 360° for about 45 minutes.
